Privacy Policy

Last updated: February 2026

1. Your Data Stays on Your Device

At AceMate, we prioritize your privacy by design. Our application is built as a client-side tool. This means we do not collect, process, or store any of your personal database data on external servers. Every player name, rating (UTR/DUPR), gender, and match result you enter into AceMate is saved exclusively on the device you are using.

2. How We Use Local Storage

To ensure you don't lose your tournament setup if you accidentally refresh the page, AceMate utilizes your web browser's localStorage functionality. This acts as a temporary, private database strictly isolated to your own browser.

3. Website Analytics & Cookies

While your club roster data remains strictly on your device, we use Google Analytics to measure overall website traffic and usage. Google Analytics may set cookies on your browser to collect anonymous, aggregated data (such as page views, generalized location, and device types) to help us understand how visitors interact with our tool. This analytics data is entirely separated from the player information you input into the app.

4. Data Sharing & Third Parties

Because your roster data never leaves your device, it is physically impossible for us to share, sell, or distribute your club's information to third parties or advertisers.

5. Managing Your Data

You have complete control over your player data at all times. You can erase all player and session data instantly by clicking the "New Session" button within the app and deleting players from your database. Alternatively, clearing your browser's cache and local storage data will completely wipe all AceMate data from your device.

6. Backups

If you choose to use the "Export" feature, a .json file containing your database is downloaded directly to your local file system. This file is not transmitted through or stored on our servers.

7. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated revision date.
